On Wednesday 19 November 2025, the Business Women’s Collective (BWC) hosted another inspiring Evening Edition event at Stiller Studio, bringing together women in leadership and professional development from across the Peel region. The event provided an empowering space for attendees to learn, connect, and strengthen their networks while exploring important topics like burnout, boundaries, and work-life balance.
The evening featured keynote speaker Joanna Gwynn, Co-Director of Breathe Counselling, who shared her extensive experience in supporting personal growth, resilience, and wellbeing. With nearly two decades of guiding individuals and teams through challenges, Joanna offered practical insights and inspiration for women navigating the demands of professional and personal life.
Joining Joanna was a panel of BWC members including Kate Capone from A Brush With Fun, Michelle Lewis from Soulful Wisdoms, and Maria Sole from High Vibe Therapies. Each panelist shared their personal journey, discussing the challenges and successes of managing work-life balance, establishing healthy boundaries, and preventing burnout. Their candid stories resonated with attendees and sparked meaningful conversation throughout the evening.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for networking for women, fostering connections and support among professionals. Guests mingled before and after the session, exchanging ideas, building relationships, and celebrating the power of connection.
The BWC extends sincere thanks to Joanna Gwynn for her keynote, to the panelists for their generosity in sharing their experiences, and to Veronica Smith for facilitating the evening. Events like this highlight the importance of community, learning, and connection in empowering women in leadership.
The Business Women’s Collective also extends heartfelt thanks to Alcoa for their ongoing support in championing women in leadership. We’re also very grateful to AJ Harrington Photography for volunteering their time & talent to photographing this event.
