BWC Workshop Series: AI, Automation, & Cyber Security

August 4 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Exclusive for BWC Members.

Work Smarter. Stay Safer. with Cyber Safety Expert, Keynote Speaker & Educator – Caitriona Forde and Leader in Automation, Responsible AI & Future of Work Transition – Dr Peta Chirgwin and hosted by Kelly Winrow from EOS IT x EOS Cyber.

Right now, someone is using AI to craft a scam that looks exactly like a message from your bank, your supplier or even you.

Cyber crime is no longer a big-business problem. Small businesses and sole traders are among the most targeted because attackers know that most do not have dedicated IT support, do not have formal security processes and are often too busy to question a convincing email or urgent payment request.

At the same time, AI is moving faster than most of us can keep up with. The pressure to adopt it is real, but so is the confusion about what it actually does, where it genuinely helps and what risks it introduces if you use it without thinking.

This workshop cuts through both.

Join us at Seashells, Mandurah on Tuesday 4 August for a three-hour, practical session with two of WA’s most credible experts in this space: Caitriona Forde on cyber security and Peta Chirgwin on AI and automation, facilitated by Kelly Winrow. No jargon just real-world examples and tools you can apply straight away.

What you will leave with:

  • The ability to spot phishing, business email compromise, deepfakes and AI-powered scams before they catch you out
  • Simple, effective steps to lock down your accounts, protect your data and know what to do if something goes wrong
  • A clear understanding of what generative AI can and cannot do, without the hype
  • Practical prompting skills to save time on drafting, summarising and day-to-day tasks
  • A map of where automation can take repetitive work off your plate
  • A personal action plan and reusable checklists to take home and use immediately
